The one detail I overlooked, knowing that my husband was at the end stage of his life, was where to send him when he passed. My son died in LA where he was living.  I needed to make arrangements for cremation from out of state.  I searched specifically for a place that owned their own crematorium, which Clarity does. From the first call I made, Bailey was so kind and compassionate. There are steps to go through and can take several days, but every time I called her at least 2x per day she picked up the phone to work me through the particular process. Since I was coming from out of town she even met me at the hotel to arrange the pickup so I would have to drive through LA. I would not even hesitate to call them. Dante just left our home after delivering my mother’s remains. He was very kind. Obviously this is a sad time for us, but Clarity has been extremely supportive and helpful throughout the process. The website was easy to use and get a quote in advance so we knew exactly what services we could choose and the true cost. Once my mom’s time had passed and the hospice let Clarity know to come and pick her up, I felt very relieved we had taken care of the details. When the drivers came to our home to pick her up, they could not have been more respectful or more professional in preparing for transport to the mortuary. (In fact, I was deeply touched by the Grace of their care) I have always been protective of my mom during her illness and decline and I thought it would be difficult to “ let go” of her at that point. I was satisfied with the service I received from Clarity. When my father passed away, I called Clarity because I read good reviews online. I called multiple times but unfortunately no one was available to take my calls. When I called again I spoke with Ashley and she instructed me to fill out my father’s info online, which in the beginning felt cold and awkward. I went ahead and filled out the info online, and after that Bailey reached out to me through email and from then on she took care of everything, including all the paperwork needed before the cremation services. I didn’t have to worry about all the paperwork and the whole process. Bailey kept me informed and updated through the whole process via email, it was worry-free and stress-free. Eventhough it seemed like everything was through email and lacked some personal touch and personal communication, although I could call her if I have any questions, they took care of everything, including obtaining the death certificate. I appreciated Bailey and her professionalism. I will use Clarity again in the future.

April 2025: I would like to add this to my original post about Clarity. I would like to give a huge thanks and big shout-out to Clarity and Bailey Marquez for handling and taking care of my father’s paperwork such as permits needed for me to be able to bring my father’s ashes back to his home country, the Philippines, to grant his final wish to be buried next to his parents. I asked Bailey for her help and assistance and she immediately obliged. She contacted the health dept and she obtained the necessary permits promptly. Bailey was very kind, helpful, supportive, and professional as always. She kept me updated through emails throughout. My family and I appreciated all her help and assistance and it made things easier. From beginning to end since my father passed and with his cremation services, it has been an exceptional service provided by Bailey and Clarity. I highly recommend Clarity Funerals. Their prices are very reasonable, but what truly sets them apart is their exceptional service. Bailey handled my father’s cremation, which was a complicated process due to some delays with the coroner’s office. Throughout it all, she remained calm, confident, and kept me updated almost daily, which provided so much reassurance during a difficult time. Find the Clarity You Seek!

The passing of a close family member leaves surviving family in a  vulnerable state. So what does one need at such a time? Trustworthy, reliable people who can guide you through the necessary steps to ensure your loved one is cared for and treated with respect.

The staff at Clarity, specifically Bailey Marquez, were those people for us.

My family and I were in LA from out of town and were initially directed to what was described to us as one of the big three funeral homes in LA. It didn’t take long before they let us down. They dropped the ball and left us hanging, when that was the last thing we needed. The Funeral Director left town without telling us and neglected to complete some needed tasks.

By contrast, as soon as we found   Clarity, Bailey was always available for us. She immediately told us we could text her or call her whenever we needed something and she stayed true to her word. When we felt lost and confused, she provided, no pun intended, clarity.

Bailey made the process feel seamless and smooth. We did not want more of the pressured sales pitches of the big funeral homes, we wanted straightforward, reasonable logistics that made sense. And that’s what we got with Clarity.

Bailey felt like a partner, navigating the systems to get the required paperwork completed, calling the necessary parties to move things along and setting up an intimate visitation for our immediate family and friends.

I'm grateful for Clarity's work on my friend's cremation.  Even though the old-fashioned part of me felt the online application process was kind of cold and mechanical for such an emotional time, it really was convenient.  And when I had questions, I was able to call and get them answered.  Finally, the two men who came to remove my friend's body from his home did an excellent job.  They were compassionate, respectful and caring.  It was not easy to navigate in the small hallways in my friend's building, but they did so thoughtfully and smoothly. Professional no-frills service. The industrial zone location of the crematory was surprising. However, for me, cremation versus burial was the hard choice. Cremation is brutal, final: no DNA is left. On behalf of my family, I would like to thank Bailey for her outstanding service and compassion, in taking care of our needs  upon the sudden passing of our son. Although our family is from the East Coast, she made sure that she was in constant contact with me from the time of our loss, to the receipt of his ashes. This funeral home is the best for the LA and Riverside area. My mom was on hospice care for a while, so I started searching around for funeral homes to have her cremated. Every other funeral home would not just give me a sheet with their pricing, which was insanely frustrating. Clarity Funerals & Cremation has it right on their website, and you can do all the paperwork online, which was a great blessing because I had to take care of my mom and couldn't really leave the house.

Bailey was fantastic and constantly communicated the status of forms and everything, and I felt she really went above and beyond and was full of compassion. For anyone who wants a simple cremation or witnessed cremation, I highly recommend making your end of life plans with this funeral home. A loved one recently passed away in Los Angeles and I live in Chicago, so I really appreciate the friendly, courteous, professional way Clarity handled the whole matter, especially making sure the remains were shipped to Chicago. I highly recommend Clarity.

My brother died in California and I live in South Carolina so based on reviews and location my son and I picked Clarity.  It was the best choice because Bailey at Clarity walked me through everything that needed to be done.  The price was actually reasonable too!  Bailey was always kind, respectful and very much on the ball!  I could tell she really CARED.   My son flew to LA to pick up his Uncle's ashes himself at Clarity and everything worked out so well. The owners of Clarity & Cremation were wonderful to work with . We were working with them initially from an out of state perspective but they were wonderful in meeting our timeframe once we got to CA. The experience with Clarity could not have been better. Online application, prompt email follow-up, anticipated questions answered, thoroughly professional, prompt and kind interactions with Taryn. When the time for transport came, the individuals were likewise professional and kind and compassionate. The small funeral home I had used previously was sadly no longer in business, but I wanted to support a smaller operation and the level of competence and responsiveness completely outmatched another past experience with a larger corporate entity.
